Email and we'll get back to you. A few common questions below.

How do the two modes work?

Flashcards are parent-graded: hold the iPad facing your child, they answer, and you tap one of the big zones — Got it! if they had it, or the card to flip and reveal the answer if they're stuck. Multiple choice is for your child alone: they get one honest guess per card, and a missed fact gently comes back later.

How do I switch between parent and kid?

Tap the lock icon on the home screen to set a 4-digit PIN. In kid mode the app hides the parent controls and dashboard; tap the lock again and enter the PIN to return to parent mode.

How does it choose what to practice?

BrainPaws adapts to each child: difficulty flexes up and down to stay in the right zone, and facts she finds tricky resurface at spaced intervals. You can also set a grade level (or fine-tune the range) per child under Manage.

Where is my child's progress stored? Can I back it up?

All on your device — it's included in your normal device backups, and the app keeps an automatic on-device safety copy. You can also export a full copy any time from the parent dashboard menu.

Is there any cost, ads, or tracking?

Every feature is free, there are no ads, and the app collects no data and never goes online. See our privacy policy.

How do I reset a child's progress?

Open the parent dashboard (chart icon), use the menu, and choose to reset that child's progress. This clears their stats but keeps the profile.
